I have been a life long resident of Thomaston, graduating from T.H.S in 1985. Currently I am residing in Thomaston with my wife and two children. Following High School I attended Western CT. State University and graduated with a B.S. in Justice and Law Administration. While working with the Thomaston P.D. I have come up through the ranks. In 1987 I started out as a Emergency Dispatcher with the P.D. In 1988 I became a Part Time Police Officer and attained Full Time status in 1989. Over my career I have had many opportunities to specialize.

I have been a Student Resource Officer, D.A.R.E. Officer, and served as the first Mountain Bike Police Officer. In 2001 I was sworn in as a Police Sergeant and in 2004 attained my current position as Chief of Police.
